The dry season, generally from April to October, is a popular time to visit Bali. It is ideal for exploring the island, enjoying its beaches and discovering its natural attractions.
You can explore Bali by scooter, private driver or local transport. A private driver is a convenient option for longer day trips, while a scooter offers more flexibility for shorter journeys if you are an experienced and appropriately licensed rider.
Some areas, such as Canggu, Seminyak and central Ubud, can get busy, especially during peak season. However, quieter villages, mountain regions and parts of the north and west offer a more peaceful side of the island.
