The season also plays a decisive role: the summer months can be very hot, especially inland and in the desert, while spring and autumn usually offer more pleasant temperatures. In cities such as Marrakesh or Fez, you should be careful as the souks are often very busy. Navigation aids or offline maps are helpful, although GPS signals are limited in some medinas.
