Gate to Paradise was born out of a travel blog and a passion for roadtrips, authentic travel experiences, and visual storytelling. Since 2026, we have been planning unique itineraries and organizing exclusive small group tours based on our own experiences. With our roots in Switzerland, we plan trips for customers from all over the world. We deliberately focus exclusively on countries that we ourselves have traveled to extensively. This is the only way we can design trips that are realistic, well thought-out, and far removed from standard solutions-with places that you won’t find in a traditional travel guide or AI.

As professional photographers and passionate travelers, we bring a special perspective to every trip we plan. We know what really matters when exploring a destination: the right balance between freedom and structure, between well-known highlights and hidden favorite spots, between adventure, culture, and relaxation.

Our goal is to create journeys that are personal, authentic, and inspiring – whether it’s a roadtrip, a photography journey, a carefully designed city trip, or an island-hopping adventure. Gate to Paradise is a young travel agency with a modern approach to planning individual trips and experiencing the world from a new perspective. Founded in 2026, the agency grew out of a travel blog that focused on roadtrips and our personal adventures.

We deliberately focus exclusively on destinations and types of travel that we ourselves have experienced extensively. This enables us to create authentic, well-thought-out travel plans and offer our customers unique travel experiences based on real experiences and personal knowledge.

We are purely a planning agency and tour operator. This means that our consulting services are fee-based – we do not offer any bookings ourselves, with the exception of our exclusive group tours, and we do not receive any commissions.

Gate to Paradise operates as an independent travel planning service and uses an innovative, unique modular principle to optimise costs for our customers while maximising the individuality of their trips. Whether it’s a complete three-week roadtrip – from route planning and vehicle search to activities and supporting programme – or an addition to existing travel plans, our system is simple, fast and completely tailored to the individual needs of our customers.

Thanks to our flexible modular approach, customers pay only for the services they actually use. This ensures that every trip remains personalised, transparent and perfectly tailored to individual preferences and the available budget.

Instead of overloaded and often unsuitable all-inclusive packages, with us you can choose exactly the services you really need for your trip – whether it’s a weekend break or a roadtrip lasting several months. Our prices depend on the services you require and the resulting workload.

Packages are available from around 99% of all travel providers. Whilst they are convenient, they often don’t really meet travellers individual needs. Smaller packages frequently don’t include all the services actually required, whilst larger packages are usually overloaded with extras that many customers don’t even use.

We therefore want to offer our customers a different approach. With our modular system, you put together your own trip and select exactly the services you really need – no more and no less.

And if you have any special requests, that’s no problem either. We’re happy to cater specifically to your individual ideas and needs and work with you to design your very own dream holiday.

The price of your trip is as unique as your wishes. It depends entirely on the services you choose, the duration of your trip and the complexity of your itinerary. As we tailor every detail to your needs – from selecting exclusive accommodation to organising logistically challenging experiences – we calculate the cost of each trip precisely based on your personal requirements.

At present, there is no minimum number of travel days or services that you are required to book with us. However, to benefit from our ParadiseCare and Music Playlist, you must book at least one paid service.

The same applies to our Emergency Support: this is available exclusively as an additional service and can only be booked in combination with at least one other paid service.

The strength of our system lies in the high degree of customisation available for your trip. We’d be happy to enhance your existing itinerary with additional services or review an existing plan to assess its feasibility, potential for optimisation, and suitability for your personal needs.

Please note that our Emergency Support can only be booked in combination with at least one paid service.

Complete flexibility is particularly important to us, as travel plans can often change at short notice. For this reason, we do not generally handle direct bookings, but instead focus on the detailed planning of your trip – with the exception, of course, of our group tours, which we organise and run ourselves.

For every stage of your trip, we provide you with several carefully selected options from which you are free to choose. This means you retain control over your bookings at all times and can adapt your trip flexibly.

Your personalised, tailor-made itinerary can be amended or supplemented free of charge at any time whilst it is being drawn up. Once the itinerary is finalised – that is, as soon as we have provided you with your final itinerary – no further changes can be made free of charge.

Our group tours include everything you need for a thoroughly enjoyable travel experience. Accommodation, rental cars or campervans, entrance fees and breakfast are all included in the tour price.

The only things not included are your own travel to and from the destination, as well as any additional meals and activities that are not part of our tour programme. You will be responsible for these costs yourself.

All our group tours are led by experienced and professional tour guides from Gate to Paradise. They possess both in-depth knowledge of the countries they visit and a high level of professional expertise.

Depending on the size of the group, the tour is led by two tour guides to ensure the best possible all-round support.

Our tour guides are an integral part of the Gate to Paradise family – we deliberately do not work with external partners at any stage.

We deliberately keep our group tours small to ensure that everyone enjoys the most immersive and personalised travel experience possible.

Depending on the type of trip, our groups consist of between 6 and a maximum of 12 people, excluding the tour guide.
