Our story began one chilly winter evening snuggled up in warm blankets on the balcony of our rented flat in snowy Zurich, Switzerland. With a glass of wine in our hands and dreams in our heads of what our lives should look like in the future, we decided to travel the world together.

Sounds like everyone’s dream, doesn’t it?

Sure, travelling the world might look a little different for us than it does for some other people. Hotel complexes, all-inclusive and beach holidays are simply not our thing. Luxury on holiday?

Just isn’t important to us.

For us, experiencing the world means travelling and living like the local people. As far as possible, of course. Because only when you see the world through the eyes of the locals do you discover the jewels of this earth.

Talking to people and philosophising at sunset in harmony with nature is what fills our hearts every day.

With this blog, we want to inspire you to redesign your travels, focus on the little things and connect with your fellow human beings on your journey.

So why should you read our blog and what makes us different from all the thousands of other travel bloggers out there?

Well, everything we write here comes from ourselves. We are not travel guides or trying to sell you something, so we try to portray everything as rosy as possible. No, we are a young authentic couple, we love travelling in our own way and we write honest reports about it. So that it helps you to find the next place you want to travel to. Or to better plan your already planned trip and organise it differently.

We always write honestly about all our experiences. If we don’t like something? Exactly, then we’ll tell you exactly the same. If we meet great people on our trip that you also need to get to know? Exactly, we’ll tell you that too and make sure you find each other.

So it’s not just our texts that are 100% our own, no, our photos are also all hand-shot by us. After all, photography is our greatest passion alongside travelling and telling stories. Landscapes and architecture tell stories that go back thousands of years, but so do people. Not so historical, but all the more exciting.
Capturing moments and sharing them with you not only fills us with joy but also with incredible pride.
